Celebrate who they are today.

A beautiful photography experience for kids, families and pets
in and around the Southern Highlands of New South Wales.

They grow up so fast…

Oh, isn’t life busy as a parent?  You are constantly cleaning that highchair, managing schedules, working a job and have a never-ending list of tasks. It can be challenging to find time for everything.
The days can crawl, but time travels by so fast.

You may have hundreds of photographs stored in your camera, but capturing important milestones often gets neglected. You have a phone full of photographs, but none that are worth displaying
in your home. Time is slipping away, and your babies are growing up.

  • Are you worried that your children won’t cooperate with a photographer?

  • Not sure if you want to be in the photos?

  • Waiting until you’ve had ‘all your kids’?

  • Unsure how to go about printing photographs?

Our biggest fear was that the kids would not be feeling it on the day, and we’d all look stressed. However, we loved the way Rachel let us
be ourselves and didn’t pressure us to feel unnatural. She captured
the personalities of our children so perfectly - J.

Delighted Clients

A young boy with short dark hair, squinting eyes, and an open mouth as if shouting or laughing, sitting in front of a blurred background, wearing a knitted sweater.

I was worried about looking fake or awkward, but Rachel
made us feel comfortable. She also gave us clothing tips to avoid looking too matchy. I love how Rachel understood our family
and captured us perfectly. - E.

I was nervous I wouldn’t be able to explain my vision clearly or that the photos wouldn’t feel like me. But from the start, Rachel just got it. She listened, expanded on my ideas, and made the whole process feel natural
and collaborative.

The moment she showed me the back of her camera and I saw my vision coming to life, I knew I could completely trust her. She didn’t just understand what I wanted—she elevated it.

You have to book with Rachel. She has an incredible gift for turning your ideas into beautiful, meaningful artwork that tells your story. - K.

ORDERING APPOINTMENT

What you have been waiting for!
Relax and enjoy as I show you the photographs. I will guide
you carefully through choosing your favourite images and selecting wall art best for your home. You will have wall portraits to give
your home a look you’ll love for generations.

Interior of a cozy room with a white wall, a photo of a smiling young boy riding a toy train in the frame, next to a wicker lamp with a giraffe-shaped base, hanging hammock chair with plush toys, and a small wooden side table with a bead ornament, natural light streaming in.

Portraits matter more than ever.

Too many families skip the time to create a portrait that they will love looking at each and every day.  Instead they rely on images that live on their phones. Our kids often don’t even see these.

I love to make the portrait process simple, enjoyable and easy.  I capture your personalities - your story.

These are portraits you will love. I want you to remember your family at every stage, with archival artwork that will never go out of style.

Rachel Ware Self Portrait

Meet Rachel Ware

I love to take the time to get to know your family, and a surprise benefit I’ve stumbled upon whilst photographing kids, is that photographs can help empower kids. They can see themselves differently, giving them confidence. As a mum of 3 kids myself, I love sharing this joy around.

My goal as a photographer in the Southern Highlands is to celebrate children at every age, to unveil the energy of a child in my images and to help families decorate their homes with personal artwork. Artwork that matters.

Recently one of my past clients from 15 years ago shared with me, they planned to print their own album, but they could never agree on the images, the layout or even the album company. So the images were never printed.

Which is why I now take such pride in helping my clients plan where their photographs will be displayed in their homes.

My Grandfather has been my creative inspiration. He spent years restoring old photographs and photographing his family because, “family is so important”, he would say. He printed ALL the images.

It becomes an easy and rewarding process to not only get photos printed, but to get artwork that will last for generations.
